PBKS predicted XI vs KKR: Shikhar Dhawan-led When Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders square off in the IPL 2023 match at Eden Gardens on Monday, they’ll be hoping to get back to winning ways. Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians in their previous match by checking all the right boxes, leading to a score of a staggering 214/3. However, Punjab suffered greatly from Kagiso Rabada’s absence as they were unable to advance quickly following Rohit Sharma’s dismissal on 0.

Mumbai took full advantage of the chance and completed the 215-run total with more than an over remaining.

Punjab would first want to get Rabada back into the starting XI before a new game at a different location. While Nathan Ellis gave a respectable performance, Rabada’s experience clearly makes a difference as it was evident during the match against MI.

In the first few overs, Rishi Dhawan put on a strong showing with the ball, and Punjab will attempt to stick with the Himachal Pradesh all-rounder going into the upcoming match against KKR.

Because of the new venue, the spin department will receive a lot of attention, especially in light of Suyash Sharma’s success for KKR at home. Rahul Chahar will then have a crucial role to play and will enlist the help of Sikandar Raja and part-timer Liam Livingstone.

Harpreet Brar can also be used by Punjab as an Impact Substitute, depending on the circumstance.

If we concentrate on Punjab’s batting, everything appears to be in order. Although they have scored runs, Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh have yet to amass significant totals to their names.

Livingstone, who along with Jitesh Sharma destroyed Mumbai with their aggressive batting, will be hoping for a repeat.
