Nottingham Forest got Anthony Elanga for the nominal fee of €17.50 million

The sole goal that was scored by Anthony Elanga in the 5th minute was scored from a counter attack which saw the Swedish international run alone with the ball for more than 85 metres and bury the ball into the side netting.

Elanga decided to not celebrate after scoring the goal, to respect the United fan’s travelling for the match but he would have liked the sweet taste of revenge after the club decided that he was not good enough and was transferred to Nottingham Forest for the nominal fee of €17.50 million.

Murillo’s heroics denied any access to the goal

The other moment that Forest may look back on as pivotal if they go on to earn a place in the Champions League, arrived six minutes and 18 seconds into stoppage time. Harry Maguire, thrown up front as an unconventional striker, prodded the ball goalwards but Murillo hacked it off the line with almost the last kick of the game.

This was the only moment Manchester United looked like they could equalise but Murillo’s heroics denied any access to the goal.
