BGMI: Available to download, when can you start playing?

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), India’s most beloved battle royale title, is now available to preload from today, May 27 for all Android users. However, the game will not be playable until May 29. iOS users will be able to download and play the game from May 29, 2023.

As part of the preload process, some users have already received an automated update starting at midnight. The update is 791 MB in size and includes a number of new features and improvements.

In a statement announcing the update, Krafton Inc. said, “We are delighted to announce that BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is now available for preload. We are happy to welcome everyone back and continue working to provide a fluid gameplay experience for our users.

“We once again, thank the authorities and our users for their continued support as we look forward to elevating the gaming experience for our community in India. See you on the battlegrounds!”

To ensure that users can play BGMI uninterruptedly, the business said it will stagger the game’s availability and playability. Players can thus join the action-packed conflicts and demonstrate their talents on the battlegrounds starting on May 29, according to Krafton.

The Indian government removed the ban on BGMI earlier this month after the business agreed to abide by local regulations. The latest BGMI update, which follows a nearly one-year ban, will include a new map, in-game events, and more.
