Changes seen in ICC rankings of Indian batsmen after recent series

The International Cricket Council released the T20I, Test and ODI rankings this afternoon. After the ODI and T20I series against England, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli have suffered. Devon Conway, who scored 92 off 52 balls in the first T20I against Bangladesh, has reached number four after hitting a tremendous bounce. Virat Kohli is fifth and KL Rahul is in sixth place.

Virat Kohli retains his top position in the ODI batting rankings. Kohli played innings of 56 and 66 runs against England in the first and second ODI respectively, taking his score to 870.

Indian limited overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma is third in the rankings, trailing Pakistan’s Babar Azam while KL Rahul has moved up from 31st to 27th.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya played innings of 35 and 64 runs to achieve his careers-best 42nd ranking among batsmen and Rishabh Pant has entered the list of top 100.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes, gained four places , moved up to 24th place as a batsmen. He scored 99 off 52 balls in the second ODI and is at No.2 as a all-rounder while Johnny Bairstow has retained his seventh position with a career-best 796 Renting Points. Moeen Ali gained nine places to be ranked 46th in the bowling list. In the batting list of the T20 International’s latest rankings, both Rahul and Kohli lost one place and both have slipped to fifth and sixth positions respectively.
