Manchester United’s striker Cristiano Ronaldo is in the starting XI against Rayo Vallecano. The friendlies between the two will be played on Sunday, 31st July at Old Trafford. This will be the first game that will be played in the United’s home ground. Manchester United’s new signings Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez, both are playing in this game.
Christian Eriksen did make his debut for the club on Saturday’s game against Atletico Madrid. He came on from the bench in the second half. The most talked about player Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t play a single game for Manchester United this season and also didn’t go for their pre-season tour.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to leave the club this summer as he wants to play for UEFA Champions League. Jorge Mendes (Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent) is still finding some European big club for Ronaldo. This week, Ronaldo himself announced that he will be playing his first game in new season despite rumours of him leaving the club this summer.
