Manchester United faced a draw against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, 31st July in their last pre-season game. It wasn’t a much impressive performance from the United players as they didn’t create much chances in the game. This was Manchester United’s second team playing in the last pre-season game.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his first appearance in the new season under the club’s new manager Erik ten Hag. Ronaldo only played till half-time as he didn’t train much with the squad and wasn’t there with the squad in their pre-season tour to Bangkok, and Australia. Erik ten Hag will be in charge of Manchester United in their first game of the Premier League on 7th August, Sunday.

United only scored a single goal in the game which was scored by the substitute Amad Diallo. Diallo scored from the rebound in the second half. United went with the young team as their first team played a game against Atletico Madrid on Saturday in Oslo. Erik told that he wanted to give rest to the first team players as he wants to see them for in the first Premier League game of the season (2022/23).
