England won the second ODI by 100 runs against India at Lord’s to level the series by 1-1.

England cricket team defeated India in the second ODI by a huge margin of 100 runs at Lord’s cricket ground. It was a disappointing loss for Indian cricket team as they let English side level this series by 1-1. The decider will be played on Sunday, 17th July at the Old Trafford cricket ground.

English side won the match with ease despite they found some difficulty in batting in the first innings. It was an amazing performance from English pacers who dismissed Indian team for 146 runs. English pacer Reece Topley was the star performer in this game as he took 6 wickets in the game and gave just 24 runs. This was the best bowling figures by any English pacer in Men’s ODIs history. The stats of 6/24 runs in ODI becomes the best by an England player.

Reece Topley made his debut in T20Is against India for England and in that series as well he performed really well. He bowled his 10-over spell in the game but couldn’t complete it as he took the last wicket of India in his very last over. Reece Topley also recorded two maidens in this second ODI against India. The decider will be much more fun as the series is now hung on 1-1.
