Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma opened up about Virat Kohli’s current batting form. The skipper feels that the fans and the experts should not be much concerned about the former captain’s (Virat Kohli) form. Rohit Sharma feels the experts don’t know much what is going inside the dressing room and team management and and just speaks. He slammed experts and fans who constantly raises questions on Virat Kohli’s selection in the Indian team.
Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli is not in a great touch since 2019 as he haven’t scored a single century since that year. Despite this, Rohit Sharma came in defence of Virat Kohli and also said that the player who was one of the best in the decade, cannot be removed just seeing his recent form. Rohit praised Kohli and said that the team will back him.
“I don’t know who are the experts who comment on player’s spot. We back player seeing their quality, if someone has been great for a decade we can’t just see what has happened over last few years. Form is something which goes up and down, but the quality of the player remains the same. We should keep this mind before making comments on other players,” said Rohit Sharma in the post-match press conference after the T20I series win against England on Sunday (PTI reports).
