Anticipation runs high as the Madras International Circuit prepares for the climactic showdown in the fourth and final round of the FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship 2023. The weekend promises a grand spectacle with close battles across various categories, delivering an exhilarating finish to the championship.

The main attraction features the MRF Formula categories – the 2000 and 1600 – leading a compact card of seven races across six categories. The competition is fierce, especially in the F2000 and F1600, where championship titles hang in the balance with a maximum of 75 points up for grabs in three races.

In the F2000 class, Sandeep Kumar leads the charge with 118 points, closely followed by Arya Singh, Chetan Korada, and Aditya Swaminathan. The F1600 category intensifies with a three-way battle involving Chetan Surineni, Veer Amar Sheth, and Viswas Vijayaraj.

The touring cars categories, with two races scheduled and a maximum of 50 points, present crucial battles. Gurunath Meiyappan aims to secure the Indian Touring Cars class championship, requiring just five more points. However, Biren Pithawalla and Arjun Balu pose strong challenges in a season marked by unpredictability.

In the Super Stock class, Diljith TS dominates with an insurmountable 85-point lead, virtually ensuring him the title. Meanwhile, the Indian Junior Touring Cars class witnessed an intense rivalry between Akkineni Anand Prasad and Deepak Ravikumar, both with four wins each.

The Formula LGB 1300 category adds to the excitement with a four-way tussle for the championship involving Diljith, Raghul Rangasamy, Viswas Vijayaraj, and Deepak Ravikumar.
