Cricket team Fortune Barishal competes in the Bangladesh Premier League as a Twenty20 franchise (BPL). The Bangladesh Cricket Board puts on the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the country’s premier Twenty20 cricket league (BCB). A Fortune Barishal team plays in the BPL for the city of Barisal in Bangladesh. They have never been crowned BPL champions. Even though they are well-known for always including prominent Twenty20 Cricket stars in their roster, they have never won a World T20. Fortune Barishal attracts many fans every season as a top cricket team in Bangladesh.
The franchise’s first season in the league was as the Barisal Burners in 2012, the same year it was established. 2015 saw him officially join the Barisal Bulls organization; however, he now serves as Fortune Barishal. For marketing reasons, Fortune Group has decided to brand its sponsored team as Fortune Barishal. No team on the squad has yet to win a game in this tournament. But after the 2016 season, they’ll be back in the league. Because they missed more games—in 2017, 2019, and 2020—their absence was more noticeable. Even though they haven’t scored a goal yet, the Fortune Barishals has finished second in both seasons.
Fortune Barishal Records:
After making their debut in 2012, the Fortune Barishal team now has a place in history as the runner-up in their league. Both in 2013 and 2016, the club finished as runners-up. In 2016, they finished with a strong enough record to qualify for postseason play. After that, they walked off the field, signalling their return to the league after an absence of three years.

- Against the Sylhet Sunrisers, Fortune Barishal scored the highest total in BPL history. It happened at Sylher Stadium in game number 24 of the 2022 season. The score for Fortune Barishal rises to an impressive 199/4. Sylhet made an effort to respond as well. Sylhet scored 187/6 but ultimately fell short by 12 runs in their match.
- Fortune Barishal scored another greatest total against Comilla Victorians in 2022. 155/5 in 20 overs. Comilla lost wickets while chasing. They lost by 32 runs after scoring 123/9 in 20 overs.
- In 2015, the Bulls qualified for the playoffs thanks to Chris Gayle, Mahmudullah Riyad, Brendan Taylor, Mohammad Sami and Al-Amin Hossain’s pace and swing. In the Eliminator, they defeated Dhaka Dynamites by 18 runs and Rangpur Riders by 5 wickets in the 2nd qualifier to reach the finals. They finished second in the tournament after losing three wickets to Comilla Victorians in the final.
