Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar made a statement on Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant. He also praised the Indian keeper for the kind of form he is in currently. Rishabh Pant has been exceptionally well in the recent series India played be it outdoor or indoor. Shoaib Akhtar also adviced Rishabh to be fit and said he needs to take care of his fitness.
“He is a little overweight. I hope he takes care of that. Because India’s market is big. He’s good-looking. He can emerge as a model, earn in crores. Because whenever a person becomes a star in India, a lot of investment is made on them,” said Shoaib Akhtar on Rishabh Pant on his official YouTube channel.
Shoaib Akhtar has praised him but also feels he needs to be fit in order to be in the Indian team for the longer period. Pant played some amazing games in the recent series against England. He also scored a century in the last rescheduled Test match against England. Not only in the Test match but also in the ODI series against England. Rishabh scored his maiden emphatic ODI hundred to make team India victorious in the ODI series.
