IIHF Women’s World Championship 2025: Ice Hockey U.S. Team Full Squad

Knight, Stecklein, and Coyne Schofield were all named in the U.S. squad for the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Czechia, to be held from 9-20 April.

USA Hockey revealed a 25 player- squad for the U.S. at the 2025 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship in České Budějovice, Czechia, from April 9-20.

Olympic champions Hilary Knight, Lee Stecklein, and Kendall Coyne Schofield will headline the United States roster at the competition in a bid to reclaim the women’s ice hockey world title next month.

Knight, Stecklein, and Coyne Schofield were all named in the U.S. squad for the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Czechia, to be held from 9-20 April.

The experienced trio clinched Olympic gold at Pyeongchang 2018, and also picked up silvers at Sochi 2014 and Beijing 2022.

Knight, 35, a silver medallist at Vancouver 2010, is the world championship record holder for points (111), goals (65), medals (14) and gold medals (nine).

The forward will therefore lead the U.S. charge which has Laila Edwards in defense, the 21-year-old who was named the MVP at last year’s world championships.

U.S. won the 2023 world title but then lost the 2024 final 6-5 to Canada in overtime.
