Virat Kohli is the latest Indian cricketer to get the first jab of COVID-19. He shared his image while taking the jab on Instagram. Kohli was among the first Indian players to get vaccinated after opener Shikhar Dhawan and Test Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane.
Kohli while sharing an Instagram status and urged people to get vaccinated as soon as they can. Kohli also urged people to stay safe joining Ravichandran Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ajinkya Rahane in the cause.
On May 7th, Friday, Indian Actor Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricket Team Captain started a fundraiser campaign whose aim was to raise Rs. 7 crores. Of the 7 crores, 2 crores have been donated by Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. The platform to donate is Ketto and the campaign is called #InThisTogether.
In a post on Twitter, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen pledging to raise funds and help people to stay together in these tough times.

Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli’s Covid-19 fundraiser generated ₹3.8 crores in a day. COVID-19 fundraiser has crossed the halfway mark of its target of ₹7 crores on Saturday itself. The couple had donated ₹2 crores towards the cause.
