Indian Premier League franchises took to social media on Friday to increase wishes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The auspicious occasion falls after a month of fasting, praying, and interest in humanitarian activities like feeding the underprivileged during the holy month of Ramzan.
Punjab Kings shared the memories of a number of the players within the franchise on Twitter. And Punjab Kings and India pacer Mohammed Shami said: “When we were young, those that didn’t keep Roza were the primary ones to urge ready because they waited an extended time for the festival. It wont to feel very nice as guests would click for a get-together and that we would enjoy it tons. Eid is usually celebrated nicely, all folks embracing and hugging one another. As far because the memories are concerned, we could see happiness during such festivals.
“Talking about food during Eid, we had phirni and sevai was always there in sweets, as for me, I even have always been a lover of biryani, so we might wait anxiously for Eid. Friends would also request biryani because my mother makes specialized biryani. From Punjab Kings, me, and my family, I’d wish to wish Eid Mubarak to all or any of you. Stay safe and stay home.”
