The Indian Premier League was postponed due to the COVID-19 scare that affected the camp. Amit Mishra, senior bowler of the Delhi Capitals had tested positive for COVID-19 at that time. Now that the tournament is about to resume on 19th September, the bowler recounts the battle with the disease. Amit Mishra, who was diagnosed with Covid-19 during the first leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL), said that the recovery from the deadly virus was the most difficult part.

The bowler shares that post the suspension of the IPL, he focused on his recovery. As per the doctor’s advice, he had improved his fitness slowly and steadily. Mishra also shared that, “I trained on my own and didn’t go close to anybody after recovery. I got some gym equipment such as a treadmill and set them up at my home as well because I didn’t want to train in a public gym,”
