Devdutt Padikkal, the stylish Karnataka southpaw was in his elements from the beginning of Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals encounter. This would be the first match of the IPL 2021 season where a team has won without losing any wicket. RCB has coasted towards the fourth consecutive victory of the tournament for the first time in the franchise’s history.

RCB’s opener Devdutt Padikkal replicated his incredible domestic form and went on to hit his maiden IPL century becoming the third youngest player to smash a hundred in the ongoing IPL 2021 on Thursday, April 22. Padikkal set up RCB’s victory with his 100 off just 51 deliveries.

Padikkal started attacking the Rajasthan Royals bowlers from the beginning with the pursue of 178 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. He hit twin boundaries against Shreyas Gopal. The opener hit a boundary on the first ball of the 17th over to complete his century on the 51th ball of the innings. His innings consisted nine impressive fours and six maximums.
