IPL 2021: MS Dhoni’s advice helped Jadeja smash 37 off the last over during CSK vs RCB encounter
Ravindra Jadeja was awarded as the man of the match after the CSK vs RCB encounter for smashing 37* in the last over.

Ravindra Jadeja, who was all fired up in the Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore encounter, smashed 37 runs off in the last over and turned the game all around. The encounter took place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, April 25. The CSK all-rounder was non-stop able in the match against RCB, when he showcased his skills with bat as well as a ball.
He dismissed three wickets with the likes of Washington Sundar, AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell while shining in the game. He was the highlight of the whole show and after the match, he spilled the beans on how MS Dhoni helped him hit those five maximums in the last over of their innings.
Jadeja revealed that MS Dhoni, their skipper, told him that Harshal Patel would look to bowl outside the off-stump.
“I was looking to hit hard in the last over, Mahi bhai told me he (Harshal Patel) will be bowling somewhere outside the off stump and I was ready for that,” SK all-rounder said.
He further expressed his gratitude towards the game he played phenomenally. “Luckily I connected with everything and we managed to reach 191, which was crucial over from our side. I knew I had to score some runs if I do get on strike,” Jadeja stated at the presentation.
