David Warner and Manish Pandey added 106-runs for the third wicket against Chennai Super Kings at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The SRH captain struggled throughout his innings and was seen as completely frustrated. He scored 57 runs in 55 balls, unusual to his hard-hitting nature, but somehow he managed to stay at the crease and added runs for his team with Manish Pandey.
Manish Pandey was called back in the team and came to bat at no.3 when Jonny Bairstow was caught by Deepak Chahar in a Powerplay over. Pandey looked better with the bat as compared to Warner and played some good shots to contribute some runs. The inning seemed slow but they accelerated a very little from 6.4 runs per over to 7.4 between this partnership.
The partnership ended when Warner was sent off by Lungi Ngidi. Warner was not in touch today but he tried his best for his team as he scored 57. He scored his 50th IPL half-century which is the highest by any player and completed his 10000 runs in T20 format.
