Devdutt Padikkal has been sent by Riley Meredith back to the stands in the third over as RCB chases a target of 180 runs in the match.

Meredith has been bowling like a high-speed train with speed up to 145 kmph and had almost trapped Virat Kohli in the first over but he was saved by the inside edge. He then proved to be an expensive bowler in the rest of the over.

He returned after Mohammad Shami bowled the second over and picked up Paddikal after he could only manage to score 7 runs off 6 balls in the third over. Devdutt Padikkal has been a reliable steady batsman of Royal Challengers and his wicket comes an early loss to RCB who are chasing a massive target of 180 runs against PBKS, a team that right now has an almost on-point bowling attack.

RCB current score is 26 runs with the loss of 1 wicket in 4.4 overs
