IPL 2021: Smith’s slow innings, brace or curse for Delhi Capitals?
Steve Smith’s innings slow innings and TEST-ish approach must not hurt Delhi Capitals.
Delhi Capitals’ Steve Smith and Shikhar Dhawan, although paced the innings very well, but the abrupt wicket of Smith, might turn out to be a reason for Delhi’s succumb.
Kieron Pollard in the 10th over of the innings, picked up Steve Smith, causing a break in the 2nd wicket partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Steve Smith. The duo cumulatively made 53 runs in partnership, in which the Australian scored 33 off 29 balls, which has to be a slow knock of course considering the situation.
Just the wicket we wanted 🤩
Pollard has trapped Smith plumb in front!

Chepauk, thus far in the IPL 2021, has turned out to be Batsman’s nightmare and things go on for a dice, any moment. The only 200+ team runs in this IPL has been scored by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
DC will be hoping that the slow innings don’t hurt them bad later in the match as DC right now look very strong in the Match.
