Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer T Natarajan has been ruled out of the remaining season of Indian Premier League 2021. The news comes as a huge blow for the Hyderabad-based franchise as they have only registered one win against Punjab Kings so far. They have already lost three of the matches before out of the total four in this season and are currently placed at the fifth position on the points table of IPL 2021.
T Natarajan has been a death bowler for his team, SRH, but hasn’t played in the last two encounters. However, Tom Moody has confirmed it before saying that the left-arm pacer was only rested. Due to his absence, Khaleel Ahmed replaced him in the line-up.
As for talking about Natarajan, the left-arm pacer has injured his knee if the sources are to be believed.
“We have not got the full report but we have been told that he has developed a strain in the knee. He will have to undergo rehab in the NCA,” the sources said according to Cricbuzz.
The interesting thing although is that, T Natarajan has spent more time at the NCA since his return from Australia tour where he made his debut in international cricket. He was selected in the Tamil Nadu side for Vijay Hazare Trophy but then BCCI has asked the TNCA to release him.
