Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma steadied MI’s innings with a 72-run stand off 42 balls, both scoring 44 runs. Naman Dhir then played a quick cameo, hitting 37 off 18 balls, helping MI post 203/6 in 20 overs.
PBKS lost Prabhsimran Singh early, but Priyansh Arya scored 20, and Josh Inglis hit 38 off 21 balls, including 20 runs in one over off Bumrah.
Captain Shreyas Iyer then took control, building an 84-run partnership with Nehal Wadhera, who scored a crucial 48 off 29. Iyer remained unbeaten on 87 from just 41 balls, smashing 8 sixes and 5 fours to guide PBKS to victory by five wickets.
Iyer was named Player of the Match for his brilliant knock. PBKS will now face RCB in the IPL 2025 final, where one of them will win their first-ever title.
