IPL 2026: Umran Malik and the Rise of 157 kmph Pace

Heading into IPL 2026, Umran Malik remains one of India’s most exciting fast bowlers, famous for his extreme speed. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, he clocked a stunning 157 kmph delivery against Delhi Capitals, along with other rapid balls at 156.9 kmph that season. His pace even reached 155 kmph in international T20 cricket.

IPL 2026: Mitchell Starc and His True Pace Legacy

As IPL 2026 draws closer, Mitchell Starc continues to be respected as one of cricket’s most dangerous fast bowlers. During his prime IPL years with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Starc regularly bowled in the 150–155 kmph range, troubling top batters with pace and swing. A viral 176.5 kmph speed reading in 2025 was later confirmed as a technical error,
