The most runs have been scored in IPL history by Virat Kohli. In the history of the IPL, Dwayne Bravo has taken the most wickets.  Since the IPL’s inception in 2008. However, Chris Gayle holds a number of the records for individual scorers, including the highest score by a player in a game (175 runs off 66 balls), the second-most centuries (six), the most sixes struck (326), the most sixes in a game (17), and the fastest century (from 30 balls). Player of the match honors are most frequently given to AB de Villiers (24). The record for the most wickets taken belongs to Yuzvendra Chahal (187).

Yuzvendra Chahal

187 wickets in 145 games for Yuzi Chahal, Yuzvendra Chahal holds the record for the most wickets for the team, and no other RCB bowler may surpass him. In the first three seasons of MI, Chahal played for them and made his IPL debut in 2013. From 2014 until 2021, he was a member of the RCB. Yuzvendra Chahal, the Rajasthan Royals’ leg-spinner, deserves a lot of credit for the team’s excellent performance in the 2022 Indian Premier League. With 187 dismissals to his credit, despite being surrounded by great bowlers the right-arm bowler is the leading wicket-taker of IPL.

Dwayne Bravo

Following his heroic statistics of 3/20 in CSK’s season-opening defeat to KKR in Mumbai on Saturday, Dwayne Bravo of the Chennai Super Kings tied Lasith Malinga’s record for most wickets in IPL history. Malinga will serve as the fast-bowling coach for the Rajasthan Royals, but Bravo, 38, is still going strong after signing a Rs 4 crore deal with the Chennai Super Kings. Bravo presently holds the second-most wickets on the list with 167. With 571 wickets in 522 games, Bravo has now surpassed nearest challenger Imran Tahir in the all-time T20 wicket-taking record.

Piyush Chawla

Piyush Chawla, who has spent most of his IPL career with Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings, holds the record for the third-most wickets in IPL history. In addition to KKR and PBKS, Chawla has also played for MI and CSK. The slow bowler has taken 179 wickets in 181 IPL games at a strike rate and average of 20.33 and 26.79, respectively. He was crucial to KKR’s 2012 and 2014 championship victories. Only five players had a better bowling record at the time.

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra is the second-highest wicket-taker in the IPL and the only player to have three hat-tricks in India’s top T20 tournament. He is an attacking right-arm leg spinner who uses fly and cunning for the consistent turn. In the game’s shortest form, the cunning fox depends on his consistency. The kind of bowler he is is evident from his total T20 record. Mishra is a risky option against any batting lineup with an economy rate of just over 7, and he has 253 wickets in the format. Amit Mishra accomplished an incredible achievement by surpassing all Indian bowlers in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the most T20 wickets. The man, known affectionately as “Mishi bhai,” began playing in the IPL.

Lasith Malinga

On Tuesday, Lasith Malinga, a seasoned speedster for Sri Lanka, announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. On July 17, 2004, and June 15, 2006, respectively, Lasith Malinga debuted in one-day international competitions. In his career, Malinga has taken part in 83 T20I games and 226 ODI games. Lasith Malinga, though, has bowled 10936 deliveries and claimed 338 wickets. His average was 28.87, and his economy rate was 5.35. He bowled 1799 balls in T20I and claimed 107 wickets. Malinga’s average in T20Is was 20.79, while his economy rate was 7.42. Malinga is not renowned for his red-ball prowess, though. In contrast, he played 59 innings and claimed 101 wickets at an average of 33.16.
