Italian Open 2025: Prize Money Breakdown; Men To Earn More Than Women

The Italian Open is set to become the center of focus in the tennis world as top international players will gather for the clay-court battle. 

Actions of the ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tournament will take place from May 7-18 in Rome . 

The tournament is highly anticipated as it marks the return of men’s world number one Jannik Sinner after completing his three-month suspension on doping conviction. 

Carlos Alcaraz is also back in action after missing the Madrid Open due to an adductor injury. While the most glaring absentee would be former champion Novak Djokovic who pulled out of the tournament after early exit from Madrid Open.

The first round of matches begins on Wednesday, May 7, with the order of play on most days starting at 11:00 a.m. local time(CET) on show courts. This translates to a start time of 5:00 a.m. ET.
