After ruling out from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 India Squad, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah shared a post and gave an update on his injury
The ICC Champions Trophy is returning after 8 years. The Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on February 19. The Indian team suffered a major setback before the start of the tournament. Team India’s star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy 2025 due to a lower back injury. Fast bowler Harshit Rana was included in the Indian squad in his place.
Injured during Sydney Test
Bumrah was injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 played in Australia. The fast bowler was injured in the 5th Test played in Sydney. After this, he did not even play the 3 ODI series against England. However, without Bumrah, the Indian team won the ODI series 3-0.

In this picture, it can be seen that the fast bowler is in the National Cricket Academy. Bumrah is currently undergoing rehab and is eager to return to Team India. Along with the picture, Bumrah has written rebuilding in the caption. Bumrah wants to recover from the injury and come back on the field again.
