ICC addressed Pakistan’s conduct and imposed heavy fines on 3 players, they had done this act during the match
Pakistan won the third match of the tri-series on Wednesday. The team led by Mohammad Rizwan defeated South Africa by 6 wickets. Pakistan chased the biggest target in its ODI history. After the match, the ICC fined three Pakistani players for violating Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct.

Pakistani Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was fined 25 percent of his match fee in the match against South Africa for breaching Article 2.12 of the Code, which relates to “inappropriate physical contact with a player, player support personnel, umpire, match referee or another person (including a spectator) during an International Match”.
There was a fight in the middle of the field
During the match, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi lost his temper. He got into a fight with South African young player Matthew Breetzke. The incident took place in the 28th over, Breetzke defended a ball that went to short midwicket. Breetzke tried to steal a single and Shaheen deliberately stopped batsman Matthew Breetzke. During this, there was a heated argument between the two.
These players also faced the wrath
Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam were fined 10 percent of their match fees for celebrating too close to batsman Temba Bavuma after he was run out in the 29th over. Both players were found guilty of violating Article 2.5 of the Code.
It relates to “using language, actions or gestures which insult or could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his dismissal during an International Match.”
Apart from the fine, all three Pakistani players have also been given 1 demerit point each. None of the players had committed any offense in the last 24 months. All the players have accepted the sanctions imposed. As such, there will be no formal hearing regarding the incidents.
