The King Cup International Badminton Open 2025 is set to bring together the best shuttlers of the world together. The event is scheduled from December 26–28, 2025 Shenzhen, China.
The King Cup International Badminton Open is a high-profile invitational men’s singles badminton tournament launched in 2024 by Chinese badminton legend Lin Dan. It’s designed as a showcase event for players in men’s singles. A total of eight invited players take part in the tournament in a single-elimination format with a strong prize pool. However, it’s not part of the official Badminton World Federation (BWF) calendar and does not award world ranking points.
The 2025 edition of the King Cup International Badminton Open tournament will be staged at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Shenzhen.
The event will follow standard BWF best-of-three games to 21 points.
