KKR Full Squad, IPL 2026: Kolkata Knight Riders walked into the IPL 2026 auction with the biggest purse among all 10 teams, and they wasted no time in making their presence felt. As expected, KKR dominated the early part of the auction and pulled off the most eye-catching deals of the event.
They secured Cameron Green for a massive Rs 25.2 crore and brought back Matheesha Pathirana for Rs 18 crore, making the duo the two most expensive players at the auction. Green also created history by becoming the most expensive overseas player in the history of the IPL.
KKR Full Squad, IPL 2026: Premium Buys and Smart Additions
KKR were not done after their marquee signings. They spent Rs 9.2 crore to acquire Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman, showing clear intent to build a strong bowling unit. Alongside these big buys, the franchise also made several sensible picks at base price.
They added Finn Allen for Rs 2 crore and Tim Seifert for Rs 1.5 crore, giving their batting lineup more depth and flexibility at the top of the order.
How Does KKR’s Squad Look for IPL 2026?
Looking at KKR’s final squad, the team appears well settled heading into IPL 2026. Ajinkya Rahane is expected to continue as captain, and with the players brought in at the auction, the batting lineup looks clearly defined.
Rahane is likely to open the innings with either Finn Allen or Tim Seifert, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green are expected to slot into the middle order. Further down the order, Manish Pandey, Ramandeep Singh, Rahul Tripathi, Rovman Powell, and Rinku Singh provide solid depth and flexibility.
The bowling attack looks like KKR’s biggest strength and arguably one of the best in the tournament. Sunil Narine, Vaibhav Arora, and Varun Chakaravarthy are expected to be regular starters, supported by the pace duo of Matheesha Pathirana and Mustafizur Rahman.
