Manchester United are looking to sign Lazio FC midfielder named Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer after the Frenkie de Jong deal looks difficult. Manchester United since the start of the summer transfer window (10th June) kept a priority midfielder target named Frenkie de Jong. The conversation between the clubs for the player is still on Hut now the deal looks unlikely as Frenkie doesn’t want to leave FC Barcelona.
New manager of Manchester United Erik ten Hag wanted to sign Frenkie as he is the great admirer of the player and feels United midfield problem could be solved with this priority signing. But it seems the manager won’t get him this summer. Manchester United have also started considering some alternatives to him (Frenkie de Jong).

Rabiot is a 27-year old central midfielder. According to reports, Rabiot is not considered as alternative to Frenkie de Jong.
