MotoGP is no less thrilling than any other motorsport, especially when stars like Marc Marquez are making headlines. And guess what? On Saturday at the Austrian MotoGP 2025, Marquez once again showed why he is a king on two wheels by winning the sprint race at the Red Bull Ring.

Marc Marquez’s Impressive Victory

The race was intense, but Marc Marquez made it look almost easy. He didn’t start from the very front, landing only fourth on the grid after a tough qualifying session that included a crash. But once the lights went out, he quickly jumped to second place. The big moment came on lap 10 of the 14 laps, when Marc Marquez overtook his brother, Alex Marquez, who had been leading earlier. From that point, Marc steadily pulled away and crossed the finish line with a comfortable 1.18-second lead.

This sprint win is even more special because it marked Marc Marquez’s first-ever victory at the Red Bull Ring, a track that had eluded him until now. Not only that, but this win also gave him his 12th sprint win of the 2025 season, extending his dominance in these shorter races. With this finish, he boosted his lead in the championship to a massive 123 points over his brother Alex, who had to settle for second place once again.

The podium was completed by Pedro Acosta, who rode his KTM to an impressive third place. Starting from seventh, Acosta made some strong moves to secure a solid finish for his team. As for polesitter Marco Bezzecchi on the Aprilia, despite his great start, he couldn’t maintain the pace and ended up in fourth.

Fans are surely buzzing after this win, excited to see if Marc Marquez can keep this winning streak alive on Sunday’s main race. What is clear is that he’s not just a great rider, he’s a superstar, making every race feel like a show worth watching.
