Mohamed Salah Breaks Premier League Record, Leaves David Beckham Behind
Mohamed Salah has 30-goal contributions in Premier League 2024-25 as the season reaches midway. Salah is leading both the scoring and assists charts with 13 goals and 17 assists, and has managed to score and provide at least one goal in all competitions.

Liverpool continued their dominant run in the Premier League with a formidable 5-0 away victory at West Ham on Sunday. Mohamed Salah yet again displayed a remarkable performance with a goal and two assists to add another milestone to his record-laden season.
Salah broke Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernnandes’ record for the most matches with a goal and assist.
Five different players had managed to reach seven matches in a Premier League season where they both scored and assisted: Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie, Harry Kane and Bruno Fernandes.
Before West Ham, the Liverpool forward has scored and assisted against Ipswich Town, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Salah’s best goal output came in his debut season, the 2017/18 campaign, when he formed a formidable trio alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, reaching the 2018 Champions League final.in eight league games this season, the most by any player in the Premier League era.
Meanwhile, Salah also broke into the top 10 list of players with the most assists in Premier League history. He replaced the tenth-placed David Beckham with his 82nd assist during the West Ham game. He next eyes his former Liverpool players James Milner (89) and Steven Gerrard’s (92) tally if he continues his form in the second half of the season.
The Egyptians goal on Sunday was his 20th in all competitions for the Reds, meaning he has now scored 20 goals in all competitions for the eighth consecutive season since joining Liverpool in June 2017.
In December, Salah then became just the fifth Reds player to reach 200 goals in all competitions when he fired home the equaliser against Crystal Palace.
In all competitions, Salah has scored 231 goals for Liverpool in 375 games.
