MotoGP 2026 is gearing up for a massive season, and it all starts with a packed line-up of team launches and pre-season events. With a major regulation shift to 850cc engines coming in 2027, 2026 is the final year of the current technical era, so every team will want to hit the ground running.
MotoGP 2026 Launch Season Kicks Off
The MotoGP 2026 launch season begins on 13 January as Pramac becomes the first team to reveal its 2026 colours in Siena, opting for a solo event after sharing the stage with Yamaha last year. VR46 follows a day later in Rome, with Valentino Rossi’s squad already teasing a fresh livery for the new campaign.
Aprilia will be the first factory outfit to unveil its 2026 bike, presenting the latest RS-GP in Milan on 15 January. Ducati then heads to its now-traditional winter base at Madonna di Campiglio on 19 January, before Yamaha travels to Jakarta on 21 January to show off its first V4-powered MotoGP machine.
