Nacho says, “We want Zidane to stay at Real”

Real Madrid defender Nacho has expressed his desire to play under the leadership of Zinedine Zidane next season.

Zidane is expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season after a below-par performance which saw them being knocked out of the Champions League.

Though Los Blancos still have a chance to win La Liga, however, those chances are slim and are hanging by the thin thread.

Nacho expressed: “In football one second you are up and the other down. We do what the coach asks, until the latest possible moment.

“He has an agreement and is energized, it is his choice and that of the club.

“However, we need him to remain at the club.”

Reports of either Raul or Massimiliano Allegri taking over the Los Blancos side have emerged and speculations are high that Zidane will make a move to Juventus.
