The Neeraj Chopra Classic, one of the highly anticipated events in athletics, is set to take place in India’s Bengaluru on May 24. Several top international athletes are in the lineup to take part in the javelin throw event.
The competition-named in honor of the Tokyo 2020 champion, will be headlined by Chopra himself. It is a first-of-its-kind event taking place in India.
The NC Classic is co-organised by Neeraj Chopra, JSW Sports, the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and World Athletics (WA). It is classified as a WA ‘A’ category or Continental Tour Gold-level meet, and will be the highest-tier international athletics event ever hosted in India to date.
Paris Olympic bronze medallist and two-time world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada, along with Rio Olympic silver medallist and former world champion Julius Yego of Kenya, are among the top stars who will be participating in the competition.
A plethora of Indian athletes — including Kishore Jena, Rohit Yadav, Sachin Yadav, and Sahil Silwal — have also been added to the Indian lineup for the event.

The Neeraj Chopra Classic will be held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Bengaluru.

Neeraj Chopra Classic: Ticket Prices
Ticket prices for the Neeraj Chopra Classic range from Rs 199 (standard entry and stand) to Rs 44,999 (premium stand).
The exclusive stand, priced at Rs 9,999, has been constructed along the thrower’s runway and shall offer a closer view of the live action.
The middle-tier ticket, priced at Rs 2,999, which has been set up in the North Upper Stand of the stadium, is located just behind the thrower’s runway.
But for those who want to have the most exclusive of experiences, five corporate boxes, each accommodating 15 guests, have been constructed at the North End of the stadium, priced at Rs 44,999.
