Arsenal manager Arteta dashed out of his technical area, grabbed up the ball after it had been sent out for a throw-in, and promptly delivered it to Bukayo Saka. Saka took the throw-in swiftly, and the Gunners scored with a tremendous shot from Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli’s spectacular goal proved pivotal, with Watford midfielder Moussa Sissoko netting a late second for the Hornets. When questioned for his opinion on the matter, Agbonlahor stated that Arteta’s intervention was not a “big thing.” He also stated that he admires the Spaniard’s enthusiasm on the field and that other managers should “take a page out of his book.” According to the 35-year-old, Football Insider:
