Neeraj Chopra

Neeraj Chopra became a household name after winning a gold medal in the Javelin Throw in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also won gold in the World Championships in Budapest in 2023.

The reigning Olympic and world champion is now training in Kuortane, Finland. The “Golden Boy” is one of the top hopes for India.

Neekhat Zareen

A back-to-back world championships winner, Neekhat Zareen has been consistent in the ring. The boxer won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022 and various other championships. But she has one thing missing in her cabinet- an Olympic medal.

Coming straight from her win at the Elorda Cup in Kazakhstan, Zareen is on a mission to win an Olympic medal.

Lovlina Borgohain

Having won the World Championships in New Delhi 2023, Lovlina Borgohain would be looking forward to continuing the success story at the Paris Olympics 2024. In the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Borgohain bagged a bronze medal. She is preparing hard to convert it into gold this time.

Sift Kaur Samra

Indian shooter Sift Kaur Samra secured the bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event at the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol) in Munich. She is the reigning Asian Games champion. A shooting medal from her would be a shot in the arm for India. 

Men’s Hockey

The Indian men’s hockey team would go to Paris after ending their FIH Pro League campaign. The lackluster series would not stop Craig Fulton’s men from giving their best in Paris.

The Indian men’s hockey team won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Manu Bhaker

Manu Bhaker won the World Championships in Baku in 2023 in the 25 m pistol team. She has won several gold medals in the ISSF World Cup, Commonwealth Games, and Youth Olympics games.

Bhaker has a chance to add an Olympic medal to her profile.

Vinesh Phogat

Vinesh Phogat will train in Spain and France ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Vinesh Phogat secured a Paris 2024 Olympics quota for India at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

PV Sindhu

PV Sindhu became the first Indian sportsperson to win back-to-back Olympic medals. The badminton ace won a silver medal in the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016 and bagged a bronze in the Tokyo 2022 Games.

Sidhu is currently out of form having come from a lengthy injury. However, she has a knack for the big international stage and hopes are high on her to win her third Olympic medal on a trot in the Paris Olympics 2024.

Aditi Ashok

The golfer participated at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016 where she finished in 41st place. Then she represented India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 where she came close to winning a medal.

The Paris Olympics 2024 could be a defining moment for her and her hunt for an Olympic medal could end here. 

Mirabai Chanu

The Indian weight-lifter is getting trained at the SAI Centre in Patiala presently ahead of heading to Paris. The world championships winner secured a silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and had promised to convert it into gold the next time.

Working on her snatch lift to 90 kgs and setting a target total of 200-210 kgs would help her a big deal in upgrading her medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.
