The Pune Grand Tour 2026 is currently making history as India’s first-ever UCI 2.2 category multi-stage continental road race. Taking place from January 19 to January 23, 2026.
The Pune Grand Tour is an annual professional road bicycle stage race held across various locations in Pune district. It was rated by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.2 category race.
The event will provide ranking points for the qualification to 2028 Summer Olympics.
A total of 164 elite riders from 28 teams, representing 35 countries, will line up for the inaugural Pune Grand Tour, a 437-kilometre test that cuts across the Deccan Plateau, the Sahyadri Range and the streets of Pune.
The race is divided into four stages with a prologue on the first day of the event.
The tour covers a total of 437 km across diverse terrains, from urban sprints to the challenging Sahyadri ranges.
