Rohit’s Performance in the Practice Match Against the PM’s XI
During the match against the Prime Minister’s XI, Rohit Sharma batted at number four. KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal continued their strong opening partnership from the Perth Test. However, Rohit had a disappointing performance and was dismissed cheaply after edging a ball outside the off stump.
The Indian team will face Pat Cummins’ Australia in the second Test, a day-night match, at the Adelaide Oval, starting on Friday, December 6. It is unclear whether Rohit will open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal in the upcoming match, given the successful performances of Rahul and Jaiswal in Perth.
