All the credit goes to the captain – Tilak Verma said after the century
Tilak Verma, while talking after winning the Player of the Match title in the third T20 match, said,
(On the head injury he suffered after dropping a catch in the last over) I am fine, the catch came in the lights, so it was a bit difficult but I am happy with the win. (On his century) I could not imagine and I cannot put it into words. It was my dream and it was the right time to score a century for my team. Under pressure, it was a good innings.
All the credit goes to captain Suryakumar Yadav. He has given me a chance (at number three). Before the game, he had told me (that I would bat there). I am really very happy. I just wanted to express myself and follow my basics and back myself. The wicket was a bit fast in the beginning. When Abhishek got out, it was not easy for the new batsman.
