Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie arrested by North Yorkshire Police
Oli McBurnie has reportedly been arrested after a video emerged appearing to show the Sheffield United and Scotland striker involved in a fight with a member of the public.
Elliott Wright recorded the Premier League striker on his mobile, with footage capturing the Scotland international striding up to him and apparently attacking him.

Elliott Wright, 21, was with pals when he saw the Scottish striker arguing with a woman.He claimed he joked with the Sheffield United player: “Chill out mate. It can’t be worse than getting relegated.”
Elliott recorded the Premier League striker on his mobile, with footage capturing the Scotland international striding up to him and apparently attacking him.
The 24-second clip — which went viral with more than half a million views on social media — shows bearded McBurnie, 24, knocking the phone from Elliott’s hand and stamping on it.
He then knees and punches the Leeds United fan, who suffered a black eye and cuts to his face in the bust-up on Saturday evening in Knaresborough, North Yorks.
Elliott said: “I saw him arguing with this girl. I was with two mates and he was getting a bit aggressive and loud. I said as a joke, ‘Chill out mate, it can’t be worse than getting relegated’.
“He seemed all right at first. He was saying, ‘Put your phone away, lads’. I said, ‘Why would I want to put my phone away?’
“Then he’s smacked me. He has hit me a few times and one of my mates dragged him off. Him, the girl and another lad walked off.”
Elliott, of Harrogate, North Yorks, did not need hospital treatment and admitted: “I was just a bit messed up to be honest.”
McBurnie, 24, has now been questioned by officers from North Yorkshire Police after the alleged victim reported the incident, which occurred on Saturday evening.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “A 24-year-old man from Knaresborough has been arrested in connection with an incident, which involved another man being assaulted.
“The 21-year-old victim sustained facial injuries during the incident, which happened shortly before 8.30pm on Saturday 8 May on High Street, Knaresborough.
“The 24-year-old arrested man remains in custody at this time.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.”
A statement from Sheffield United read: “Officials at Sheffield United are aware of the video circulating on social media and are currently investigating.”
