T20 World Cup: Afghanistan Beat Uganda By 125 Runs
T20 World Cup match no. 5: Afghanistan vs Uganda Uganda won the toss and decided to bowl first, which did not prove good for them. While batting first, Afghanistan’s openers gave an amazing start. They gave a good start to Afghanistan by making a partnership of 154 runs for the first wicket.
Afghanistan’s openers, Gurbaz and Zardan, gave a wonderful start to the first batting. Gurbaz scored 76 runs in 45 balls, and Ibrahim Zadran scored 70 runs in 46 balls. Both of them made a first-wicket partnership of 154 runs in 14 overs for the first wicket. Due to their start, Afghanistan’s team scored 183 runs.
The Uganda batsmen could not stay on the pitch and scored only 58 runs; the whole team was all out. Robinson Obuya scored the most runs for the Uganda team; he made 14 runs in 25 balls.

The Afghanistan bowlers turned the match one-sided. Fazalhaq Farooqi took 5 wickets in his 4-over spell. Along with him, Mujeeb and Rahman took 1 wicket, Naveen and Haq took 2, and captain Rashid Khan also took 2 wickets.

Afghanistan gave a great performance. Their bowlers made sure they won effectively, while their openers built a strong foundation. In their future games, they hope to build on this momentum. Uganda, on the other hand, needs to regroup and figure out how to get better at bat if they want to win the tournament.
