Complete List Of Teams Who Have Qualified For Women’s Euro 2025

Sixteen teams will be in fray at the women’s UEFA Euro 2025 which is set to be hosted by Switzerland between 2-27 July 2025.

After a series of thrilling games in the qualifiers, the list of qualified nations for the Women’s EURO 2025 football tournament is complete.

The Women’s Euro was first held in 1984 and is the main competition in women’s association football between national teams of the UEFA confederation.

Sixteen teams will be in fray at the women’s UEFA Euro 2025 which is set to be hosted by Switzerland between 2-27 July 2025.

England are the reigning women’s Euro champions who won their home tournament in 2022 (delayed from 2021 due to the Covid pandemic), beating Germany in extra-time at Wembley Stadium.

FIFA World champions Spain will be eager to win their first continental title. They registered their best finish back in 1997 when they reached the semi-finals.

The first team to qualify after the hosts were Paris 2024 bronze medallists and record eight-time European champions Germany.

Two teams will be making their Euros debut, as Poland and Wales won their play-off games across November and December 2024. Wales created history when they defeated the Republic of Ireland in the qualifiers 2-1 to reach their first ever major tournament in women’s football.

On the other hand, Scotland will miss a third successive major tournament after falling to a 2-0 defeat away to Finland in their decisive play-off match earlier this week. 

The Swiss are hosting the women’s Euros for the first time, 17 years after they co-hosted the men’s European Championship alongside Austria.

The Euro 2025 tournament will underway on 2 July 2025 at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, where the final will also take place on 27 July 2025.
