Germany’s national football team defeated Italy’s team on Tuesday night in the UEFA Nations League. The host scored 5 against the Euro 2020 winners (Italy national football team). The visitors were totally crushed by the 2014 FIFA World Cup winners (Germany). Despite this victory, the underdogs Hungary are leading the table and are sitting on top comfortably.

Hungary defeated England by 4-0 on the same day which took them to the top of the table. Germany is now in the second position with 6 points in 4 games. Talking about the game between Italy and Germany, the host started to dominate Italy as soon as the referee blew the whistle. Germany was in lead in just 10 minutes when Bayern’s talented midfielder Joshua Kimmich scored an amazing goal. Germany was leading by 2-0 in the first 45 minutes after Gundogan scored the penalty goal in added time of the first half.

The host started the second half with a goal as Bayern Munich’s midfielder Thomas Muller scored the third goal of the game to make Germany lead by 3-0 in the 51st minute. Chelsea’s striker Timo Werner scored two goals in very quick succession and the scoreline was 5-0 in the 69th minute. Both the goals from Chelsea’s forward were wonderful.

However, Italy tried to get back into the game by scoring two late goals but it was too late for the visitors to earn some points from this game.
