German giant Bayern Munich holds the record for the longest unbeaten run in the group stages of Champions League. The 40-match unbeaten streak started back in 2017. The Bavarians’ last defeat in the group stages came back in September 2017 against PSG. Since then, the German giants have been absolutely ruthless in group stages, accumulating 90 plus points in those 40 matches. The German champions have managed to keep the win.

Real Madrid is the most successful club in Champions League history winning the trophy four times between 2010 and 2020, including three consecutive titles. The Spanish club were a formidable force during the group stages between 2012 to 17 as they recorded a 30-match unbeaten run. Their unbeaten run finally came to an end when they were defeated by Tottenham Hotspur 1-3.
