Updated IPL 2026 Orange Cap And Purple Cap List: Match 42 of  IPL 2026 of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The low-scoring but thrilling match saw the Gujarat Titans take advantage of an early RCB collapse and secure a four-wicket win against the two-time defending champions.

Shubman Gill, the captain of the Gujarat Titans, won the coin toss and elected to bowl first. Both teams remained unchanged from their prior matches to this point.

The stadium was packed with thousands of RCB supporters on the heels of their arrival to see the legendary Virat Kohli live; the RCB fans had come to Ahmedabad in large numbers. The Titans were also able to settle a score from 2025 as they defeated the RCB in the earlier match-up in the tournament.
