Mumbai City FC has signed a new four-year contract with Vignesh Dakshinamurthy to secure the services of promising left wing-back at the club until May 2025.

Vignesh was one of the vital figures in Mumbai City securing the League Winners Shield and the club’s first ISL title.

“I have been at Mumbai City FC for a very long time at this point and it’s an exceptional inclination submitting my next couple of years to a club that has shown confidence and upheld me all through,” the 23-year-old Vignesh was cited as saying in a media exchange.

Coach Sergio Lobera said, “Vignesh is a youthful, persevering kid, and an incredible expert who is anxious to improve every single day.

“He showed extreme character all through the season and he was prepared to step in at whatever point the group required him. I unequivocally accept that Vignesh has a brilliant future in front of him and I am glad that he will be with us at Mumbai City for years to come,” Lobera said.
