With Season 3.5 coming to a close, many players are waiting to know when Marvel Rivals Season 4 will begin. Based on the in-game timer and the official roadmap, Season 4 is expected to launch on September 12, 2025. Just like the previous updates, the new season is likely to bring fresh heroes, maps, and other exciting features.

While there is no official confirmation from the developers yet, in-game hints and datamined leaks are already giving fans an idea of what to expect.

When Does Marvel Rivals Season 4 Start?

Marvel Rivals Season 4 is set to begin on September 12, 2025, right after the end of Season 3.5. Following the new schedule, each season now lasts for two months instead of three. This makes the updates more frequent, giving players something new to look forward to every few weeks.

Every new season has so far introduced at least two new heroes to the roster, so fans can expect the same in Season 4.

Possible New Heroes in Season 4

The game’s lore has already teased some interesting characters:

  • Dizang (possibly Daredevil): In Season 3.5, Hela was seen interacting with a mysterious figure called Dizang. Descriptions in the lore suggest that this character can jump across walls and climb rooftops, which matches Daredevil’s fighting style. The gallery art showing glowing eyes and horn-like features also supports this theory.
  • Angela: According to leaked voice lines, Angela (Hela’s sister and Odin’s daughter) might join the hero lineup in Season 4. Characters like Loki and Hela are said to have dialogues with her in the datamined files.

New Map Leaks for Season 4

A new location called K’un-Lun is rumored to arrive in the next season. K’un-Lun is connected to Iron Fist’s story in the Marvel Universe, and some leaks suggest it could be added as a new playable map. Heroes like Storm and Rocket Raccoon even mention this place in leaked lines, which makes the rumors stronger.

If true, the update could also bring a martial-arts themed battle pass with fresh skins and cosmetics inspired by this mystical city.

What Else to Expect?

Apart from heroes and maps, Season 4 may also bring:

  • New story missions connected to Hela and Angela
  • Fresh cosmetics like skins, emotes, and card art
  • Balance changes to existing heroes to keep gameplay fair
  • A chance for more collaborative events with limited-time rewards
