Indian cricket team defeated England by 49 runs in the second T20I which was played on Saturday, 9th July at Edgbaston. With this victory, Indian cricket team sealed the series as they are currently leading this 3-match T20I series by 2-0. Skipper Rohit Sharma has a new record to his name, he hasn’t lost a single game after becoming Indian team’s full-time captain.

England had a bad time after the Test as the new skipper Jos Buttler haven’t won a single match after becoming full-time white-ball captain of England. Jos Buttler in an interview said the way their team played, they deserved to win the match and this series. Skipper Rohit Sharma in a post-match presentation was happy and talked about the confidence his team has gained after this first two victory in England.

“We know how good they are as a team, not just in England but everywhere they go. When you win there is confidence and it is important how the boys feel,” said Rohit Sharma in a post-match presentation telecasted on Sony Sports Network.

The third and the last T20I between India and England will be played on Sunday, 10th July at Trent Bridge.
