Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is fully fit to play against West Indies. Rohit sustained an injury during the 3rd T20I against West Indies at Warner Park on Tuesday. While he was batting, his back started paining and was advised to walk off the field. He got retired hurt and Shreyas Iyer comes into bat in place of him. After the game, BCCI reported that Rohit Sharma has back spasm due to which he was taken off the field.

Now, as per reports, Rohit Sharma is all set to play the last two T20Is against West Indies. Rohit Sharma becomes the second batter in international cricket history to get retired hurt twice. New Zealand’s batter Ross Taylor is the first to do this. Fans weren’t happy to see Rohit Sharma injured ahead of some important tournaments namely Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.

As Rohit has recovered well from his back spasm it is now been confirmed that the Indian opening batter will lead the side in the fourth and fifth T20I between India and West Indies. India will play the fourth T20I against West Indies on Saturday, 6th August.
